Colorful Dreams

Mention the relationship between me and painting, I should mention my grandparents. They are both painters. I remember I used to visit my grandparents’ house very often when I was little, their world is full of matching colors, structure and perspective. All of these are appealing to me, covered my childhood with beautiful colors and happiness. Let me get relaxation from the "boring practice" of piano, watching my grandma painting flowers become one of the greatest joys of my childhood.

First of all, painting can provide different satisfaction according to different painters, every single painter have different background, this make painting become a special part of their life. For me, painting is one of few things that can make me feel relaxing. When I having a hard time or bad emotion, I usually take brushes and start to paint. I enjoy the feeling that the colors can communicate with my eyes, and gradually fill in my heart, then brighten my whole world with flaming colors.

Additionally, color is a very important part of my life, I am also trying to describe the color idea in my music. My music style is always be considered as colorful. Different instrumentation, different orchestration, pitch arrange, timbers, techniques, all of these make different colors of my music. I also start to research the link between visual color and acoustic color. The goal of this researching is I can discovery a new form of expression that can bring both acoustic and visual pleasure to human being.
